1. It is understood that said Sheltie is a good representation of its breed and is suited for a companion 2. It is understood that the above dog will be registered by the new owners through AKC with the
“Breyston” prefix on it"s registered name preceding all other words. 3. Registration papers will be marked LIMITED REGISTRATION. The Sheltie is NOT to be used for
reproduction. In the event this dog is found to be bred the seller reserves the right to take immediate repossession of the dog and fine the Buyer $2,000 (two thousand) per litter. 4. If at ANY time during the life of said sheltie above, it cannot be kept by the Buyer, the Buyer is to contact
the seller “Pat Dody”. Seller “Pat Dody” will provide a temporary home until Seller can find another suitable home. The dog will be sold for fair market value, which will depend on age, temperament, training, etc. and may be less than amount paid. At the time of sale, the Buyer will be refunded ½ of the Purchase price above. If the buyer chooses to sell or give away the dog ie: relatives, friends, etc. Buyer is to notify the Seller ahead of time and give Seller the new owners contact information. If it is found that the above dog has been place without notification, surrendered or sold to a pet store, wholesale outlet, dog pound/shelter or rescue organization, Seller reserves the right to take immediate repossession of dog and fine Buyer $2000 (two thousand). Any fine incurred will be donated to ASSA Sheltie rescue by seller. If the dog is found to be abused or neglected the Seller reserves the right to take immediate possession of the dog. 5. Said sheltie above is being sold with a health and hereditary guarantee, Buyer agrees to have a Veterinarian
check the sheltie with (5) five days of purchase or guarantee is void. 6. Dogs are expected to take up to two weeks or longer, depending on age and temperament before they becomes
familiar with their new surroundings. It is perfectly natural if they chooses not to eat/drink or be sociable for a few days. Our main goal at Breyston’s Shelties is to produce happy, healthy dogs that will make wonderful pets and are
loved and cherished by their people. I hope that as you read our contract you see that our main concern is for the welfare of the dog. Please help us to help them be happy! One of the highlights in breeding Shelties is to hear how well the dogs are doing in their new homes. Please keep
in touch, letters, emails and photos are always welcome. We know you will enjoy many years with your new companion. Testimonies and Pictures will be posted on our web site with consent from buyer. Both the Buyer and Seller have read the above contract and understand and agree to all the conditions stated herein.
The heath/hereditary addendum is also a part of the contract. This contract is legal and binding. Both parties agree that any legal action to enforce this contract will be brought forth in Montgomery County, Texas where breeder resides.
